Ugandan singer Pallaso has spoken out against popular events promoter Abtex, accusing him of being inconsiderate when it comes to paying musicians fairly.
Speaking in a recent interview, Pallaso said that Abtex has a habit of cutting down agreed payments from the very beginning of negotiations until the day of the event.
“Events promoter Abitex is not considerate to musicians when valuing them in terms of payments,” Pallaso stated during his interview on Sanyuka TV.
He explained that this has happened to him on several occasions and believes other musicians may have faced the same challenge.
Pallaso emphasized that artists invest time, energy, and resources into preparing for shows and should be respected with fair compensation.
The singer urged promoters to be more professional and transparent when dealing with performers.
As of now, Abtex has not responded to the claims.
