Urban TV aired another action packed Rated Next live episode last night as contestants in the sing it competition battled for the big prize.

Present in big numbers, music fans at National theater were treated to amazing performances from all the Rated Next contestants.
Pages, Charles, Joshua and Hudson also performed their own rendition of ‘Bless My Room’ by Necessary Noise as Winnie, Eseri and Ruth did their all ladies version of ‘Where you are’ by Radio and Weasel ft Blu*3.

Generally, the performance was not at its best last night as all the judges were disappointed in the contestants. Judge Siima and Sharpe’s harsh comments left fans booing at one point. Only Charles got praises from Judge Siima after doing a song called ‘Malaika’ by Fadhilli. “That was incredible, thank you so much,” Siima Kanyindo remarked. “Thanks for saving the evening, this was the best performance of the night.” Judge Sharpe Ssewali added.

Then came the most dreaded part of the show, the eviction moment. Following Sharifah, Lillian Apiyo and Lillian Nabuuma who were evicted last week, Pages and Hudson did not survive the chopping block. They were sent packing back home.

It all ended with the announcement of the contestants on probation this week. The judges deliberated and the names were sent to guest host Mosha who announced them. Joshua, Winnie and Ruth Grace are on probation this week and could leave if you don’t vote for them.

Keep in the loop of what your favourite contestants are up to this week. Watch Urban TV every day at 10pm for daily highlights and on Sunday’s at 7pm for the live show.
