Have you been having a dream of joining comedy or do you think you have what it takes to be the next superstar in the comedy industry but you lack the touch? Well your chance is here, Mendo M7 born Segujja Herbert and award winning stand-up comedian Pablo born Kenneth Kimuli are starting a mentorship program for upcoming comedians. The two comedians are organising a comedy workshop where they intend to teach people how to be funny and crack ribs and make a living off this.
Mendo revealed the news on his Facebook timeline as he talked about his proteges that have now become a force to reckon with in the industry. He posted, “After my one year programme in Comedy Performing and Writing at the Prestigious American Comedy Institute, Newyork, I partnered with my Comedy buddy Pablo Kimuli and we gave it a try. You cannot teach someone to be funny, but you can turn someone’s Fun into Comedy. We made it. All 15 pioneer students are now a force to reckon with in Standup comedy business. Big up Patrick Idringi for your continued mentorship to these young comics. Comedy files thanks for creating a platform for the future of Standup comedy in Uganda.”
