Nigerian musicians Paul and Peter Okoye also known as P-square are set to stage a show in Jinja next month. The ‘Alingo’ stars are expected to perform at the Victoria Nile tour 2014 that is slated to take place on October 10th.
Being their fourth time to visit and perform in Uganda and their first time to go upcountry, they were paid 100 million shillings according to organizers Faisal Tamale and Edison Kasaijja. The singers will perform alongside Kenya’s Amani and Jamaican singer Samantha J who sang Tight Skirt.
The show is sponsored by the same company that brought in Shaggy, Mafikizolo and Burna boy last weekend, Nile Breweries.
The Company has been blamed for the delayed hype as no adverts have been run for the show which could see it flopping. Nile breweries say that they have so many events including the upcoming Nile Gold Jazz Safari, the just concluded Club Mega fest and now this.
