OZIL-BAYERN-300x180

Injured Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil says he will bounced back stronger from his latest setback.

The 25-year-old Germany international midfielder was replaced at halftime on March 11 in Arsenals’ 1-1 away draw against Bayern Munich in the final leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie after sustaining a Hamstring injury.

“Rest assured that I’ll be back even stronger!” Ozil posted on his Facebook page.

Ozil’s injury comes in the wake of a recent deep in form that led to a backlash from both Arsenal and German fans.

Ozil arrived at Arsenal this season from Real Madrid for a record £42million fee.

Meanwhile, Arsenal coach Arsenal Wenger says he is keeping his fingers crossed on the extent of Ozil’s injury.

“He is out. I don’t know for how long but it is a hamstring injury. There are scans going on,” Wenger told Arsenals official website.
