If there is any thing to remember about radio stations a decade ago, its former Capital FM Big Breakfast co-hosts comic Oulanya Columbus and Karitas Karisimbi “Nnalongo” who alongside “Big brother” Geatano Jukko Kagwa ruled Ugandan radio airwaves in the mid 2000s before parting ways for different ventures.
News on our desk reveals that Oulanya and Karitas have re-united at the freshest station around town, Namanve based Juice FM. The radio station that hit the airwaves about a fortnight ago hired the dynamic duo, who will join funnyman Daniel Irish Kanyerezi on the Juice Breakfast show that airs from 6:00am to 10:00am on weekdays.
Karitas is reported to have finally settled for a 7 figure monthly salary (around 2.6M). Whereas Oulanya’s salary remains in the shadows, he will officially storm the station Monday, September 2nd, 2013.
The “mother of two” Karitas has been working with radio City and the “one time singer” Oulanya has been working with Industrial area based Bukedde FM.
With all the experience, expertise and tireless commitment, we hope the Juice Breakfast to be a sure thing & will probably be ranked among the best morning shows in the country very soon.
