Oscar Kampala Becomes First Ever Young East African to be Nominated for Forty Under Forty Africa

The indomitable Oscar Kampala brand proprietor Oscar Nyesiga has yet again given Uganda a reason to smile with prestigious continental recognition.

The fashionpreneur has become the youngest nominee from the whole of Africa to feature in the “Forty Under 40 Africa”.

Forty Under 40 Africa is an entity that aims to celebrate continental icons and young business leaders who have gone ahead of their age, arguably, Oscar Kampala tops this list.

This year’s ceremony will be held on 30th March 2024 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi, Upper Hill, Kenya.

Only accomplished young business leaders under the age of forty who are committed to business growth, professional excellence and community service and have risen to the ranks of their companies or industries at a relatively young age were nominated.

Marvelous as the feat is, it is no longer a surprise that Oscar Kampala has blossomed beyond Uganda as he continues to defy the odds of being a very young enthusiast.

The brand has garnered astonishing milestones courtesy of the bespoke outfits, community engagement and countless initiatives that make it a “people’s brand”.

Oscar Kampala has had unbelievable influence on many youths who are currently ‘in love’ with the fact that the brand is more engaging and reputable, beyond the business sphere.

Recently, the city was left in awe when thousands lined up to be a part of ‘1000 Men In Oscar Kampala’, with an intention to inspire young entrepreneurs in the country and beyond.

Close to 2000 Kampala’s finest gentlemen were clad in exquisite tailored suits from Oscar Kampala and made a statement all over continent, intending to inspire fellow youth.  

The brand plans to hold another campaign with more numbers so as to reach inspire as many more as possible.

Oscar Kampala is no stranger to the big stage at his young age – having won Zikomo awards of “Best Fashion Brand of the Year” and “Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year” for two consecutive years.

Zikomo Awards are held annually to recognize the finest enterprising Africans, hosted in Lusaka, Zambia.

Oscar’s success story is spreading like wild fire and for all the right reasons. He arguably deserves to be among the top of the top 40 under 40.
