When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit earlier this year, societies struggled to settle into the new rhythms of life at home, as the long-term effects of the coronavirus pandemic on economies, industries and day-to-day lifestyles around the globe.
For example, the entertainment industry, one of the biggest income generator and most followed worldwide changed the consumer attitudes and behaviors as music concerts, parties, among others were all halted.
In countries like Uganda, the effect was so deep as it was fond of organizing an average of five big shows per month countrywide.
It sparked concerns from stakeholders on how they would adjust to the health threat at the same time steadily revamp the music business.
Fortunately, in July one of Uganda’s prominent singers, Omulangira Suna (OS Suna) dropped a proposal of holding his concert, Tebatusobola concert amidst such a skeptical season.
This was shocking to his fans and friends as many ran with advice to him but OS Suna maintained plans of his concert up to date without consideration of any arising challenges.
Tebatusobola concert is slated for 30th August 2020 at Calender Hotel, Makindye.
According to the concert organizer, Abtex Promotions the concert will be due to the date announced and will owe to the Ministry of Health’s stipulated Standard of Operation Procedures (SOPs).
OS will now register Uganda among the first ever countries to hold scientific concerts globally after England and Germany that are also due this month.
