Uganda’s representatives at this year’s CAF Confederations Cup, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) were yesterday condemned to a 2-1 defeat by South Africa giants Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium.
The Tax Collectors fell to Rooi Mahamutsa and substitute Lehnoloholo Majoro’s strikes who gave the Buccaneers a well-deserved lead with a goal in each half respectively. URA’s Peter Lwasa, who was making his second appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup after his first coming against Madagascar’s ASSM Elgeco Plus in Kampala, scored the tax collectors’ only consolation. Lwasa came on as a substitute for Frank Kalanda who missed a couple of chances.
