One Day To The Return of Frank Gashumba To Makerere University

Frank gashumba

By Our Makerere Correspondent

On 18th of this month, Frank Gashumba will return to Makerere University for a Banyarwanda event where he’s been invited as one of the guest speakers. The students who had vowed under the underground organization of “student brotherhood” not to allow him to enter the MUK gates may have to think harder.

With the incidences of the murdered student, the student brotherhood must be going through a period of reflection. During the Face of MUK event, the students had commanded that Frank and daughter, Sheilah leave the podium as they were not fit to address them.

Further comments about the incident saw Students vow never to let the Gashumba family through the Makerere gates. We now await to see whether this will be fulfilled come 18th April when Frank Gashumba makes a return.

By Our Reporter

It was a fun-filled affair at the Nkozi bash as both freshers and continuing students of Uganda Martyrs University converged at the upscale Bbosa Hostel and partied the night away over the weekend.

The event, dubbed the Nkozi Fresh Bite Bossa Bash, an annual staple of the hostel, was this time around graced by DJs Ssesse and Alza, who had the campusers dancing all-night to hot music mixes, much to their delight.

The majestic hostel’s courtyard was centered by a huge white dome, inside of which was an air-conditioned ambiance, complete with a bar, dancefloor and seating area where some of the revellers were situated throughout the night.

Bbosa Bash is an annual event which usually attracts hundreds of campusers, some of whom come from other universities across the country, all in the name of joining their counterparts for the party.

Here are some photos from the event.
