Newly promoted Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) side, Onduparaka Football Club has organized a car wash to raise funds ahead of their debut season in the top flight. The car wash is slated for Saturday, 30th July, 2016 at Panamera where the Caterpillar fans and well-wishers will bring their vehicles for washing and pay in some cash for the service.

“Onduparaka is a team owned by the community and they organized this to ensure financial stability throughout the season. We spent some money to boost the squad and need to improve the team’s welfare to perform better in the topflight,” Mr. Otelul, the club’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) is quoted on ChimpReports.

It’s also reported that Honorable Bernard Atiku, the Arua Municipality Member of Parliament will be the chief guest at the event.

The 2016 Uganda Cup losing finalists have already appointed former South Sudan national team tactician Leo Adraa as the new head coach as they look forward to an eagerly awaited 2016/2017 season that is set to kick off on 14th August when Vipers take on KCCA FC in the FUFA Super Cup while the league officially starts on August 19th.
