Ugandan veteran media personality, Simon Peter Ndawula a.k.a Omulangira Ndausi survived spending a night in jail for the second day over fraud.
The Radio Simba presenter who was arrested on Monday over extortion accusations nearly slept in the Police custody also on Tuesday if it was not for his bond.
At the start of the month of March, rumors relating Omulangira Ndausi to fraud acts and him hunted by Police circulated on social media.
On Monday, March 21, 2022, NTV news anchor Andrew Kyamagero reported that Ndausi had been arrested by Police for his criminal financial deception against some youths.
“Omulangira Ndausi arrest and to spend a night at Jinja road police station for extorting money from youths promising them jobs abroad. Wrong is wrong,” Andrew Kyamagero’s tweet read.
According to Police, the “Binsangawano” day-breaker program host obtained money from a group of people with promise of getting them jobs in the Apple shambas abroad which he unfortunately failed.
However, Ndausi is said to be out of jail now on Police bond though still committed to accomplish the case against him.
