So, last evening was a great one in the life Of Sheila Gashumba as her new TV show premiered on NTV Uganda. And no, she was not the happiest about this great achievement, but her dad. Mr, Frank Gashumba was taken up with emotion as he told us how his daughter has beaten all odds to make it to the biggest TV station in the land and have her own entertainment show.
The loving dad who has always stood up for his daughter on Social Media said that Sheila had come from far and he is very proud of her.
“They said this day will never come. From WBS TV at the age of 9 to NTV hosting T-Nation and starting today Monday 10th November Sheila will be joining Douglas and Dave Dash on The Beat live show on NTV. This show will change the Television industry in Uganda
from 5pm to 6pm.Monday to Friday,” he posted.
As expected, Sheila thanked her father for the love and care. She said: “Awww My Father is the best I will ever have. He has given me the best example of how a person can love you. Thanks for supporting me papa.”
In the revamped NTV The Beat show, viewers can expect to watch an awesome trio of well-seasoned presenters, Dave Dash of Radio City who also works as an events manager, Sheila Gashumba, daughter to Frank Gashumba and former NTV Teens show host and of course the much loved former Record TV star, Douglas Lwanga.
Speaking about her new show, Sheila said that she is excited and ready to get her fans entertained.
“Rise up team Sheila Gashumba, Make sure you watch me because I have a lot in store for you. We shall be taking TV to a whole new level,” she said about the show that will be airing live every weekday.
Dave Dash on the other hand said that he feels lots of positive energy towards his new show. He recently told us that he has been ready for this show for a long time coming. “I actually started shooting and getting people’s opinions on the Desire Luzinda nudes last week, I am ready for the new show,” he said.
Douglas Lwanga is more than happy to have new co-hosts working with him. The former Katogo presenter said that the show was getting revamped but as usual, he will be in the driving seat.
