With just a day to the Uganda Cranes’ game against the Falcons of Sudan, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named Eritrean referees to officiate over the Saturday game.

On match day, Luesleghed Ghebre Micheal will be the center referee while Berhe O’ Micheal and Bertekemos Ghebrestinsae will be the first and second assistants respectively.

Yemane A. Gebremedhin will be the fourth official with Tanzania’s Alfred Rwiza Kishongole will be the match commissioner.

Uganda play Sudan in a two leg encounter in the third and final round qualification campaign of the 2016 Chan finals that will be played in Rwanda.

Sudan missed the 2014 Chan finals that were played in South Africa after being ejected by Burundi while Uganda ditched out Tanzania to make it to the finals.

After Robert Ssentongo was kicked out of the national team, Coach Micho has continued to reduce his squad number by sending Henry Katongole and Peter Katumba home.

The Cranes yesterday beat SC Villa by 4-2 in a buildup match played at the African Bible University playground.
