The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has released official design for the Uganda Cranes jersey that will be used at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon.
The development followed the completion of the modifications on the current jersey that were handled by kit manufactures Errea and submitted to CAF.
“The modification are a completion of the job on the current jersey that went on market on 2014. The modified jersey will be used at the 2017 AFCON finals. This will always remain a historic jersey with good design that the Uganda Cranes used when they qualified for the continental soccer showpiece after 39 years of waiting,” FUFA spokesperson Ahmed Hussein is quoted on the federation’s website.
The home kit is a red one while the away kit is white and as usual, designed with different colours of the Uganda flag. The biennial continental tournament is scheduled to kick off on January 17th 2017 in Gabo.
