It would be wrong to assume that it is only East African politicians who have a penchant for dancing and entertaining crowds at political rallies.
It is not doubt that local politicians love their dance especially when they know it can earn them the extra vote in the next election. Not to be left behind is US President Barack Obama who is seen dancing with an identified gentleman in front of friends and family as they welcome the New Year 2016 in style.
Obama, whose father is a Kenyan definitely has those dancing genes associated with Kenyan politicians in him. This is in no doubt as he is the first Kenyan-American in history and the first African to ascend to the highest office in the world.
However, as seen in this photo, the gentleman seems to be dancing his way into the New Year much better than the leader of the most powerful country in the world. Obama, in fact, seems to be copying his dancing partner’s dance moves, which may soon be emulated by Kenyan politicians somewhere in 2016 in the hunt for votes ahead of 2017 general elections.
President Obama, son of a Kenyan, made a historic visit to Kenya in July 2015 to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) which he co-hosted with President Kenyatta. He was the first sitting US head of state to ever visit Kenya. The GES was held on the continent for the first time.
