Uganda’s biggest international music and arts festival, Nyege Nyege, is back for its 10th edition — and it promises to be the most explosive yet.
On Wednesday, 23rd July 2025, the organizers officially announced that this year’s celebration, themed “Ekiggunda Ky’Omuliro: The Gathering of the Flame”, will take place from Thursday, 20th November to Sunday, 23rd November 2025.
In a thrilling change of scenery, the festival will be hosted at Kalagala Falls, just across the iconic Itanda Falls on the River Nile — approximately 30 minutes from Jinja town.
The new venue, known as Adrift, is expected to provide an immersive and natural experience that enhances the festival’s signature mix of music, culture, and freedom.
This year’s edition marks a decade of Nyege Nyege’s influence on the global underground music scene, and fans can expect a star-studded lineup, featuring both international and local acts across multiple stages.
