NTV’s Resty Namawejje who passed on Saturday will be laid to rest today. Resty whose requiem mass was held yesterday will today be buried in Abayita, Entebbe Road.

Resty Namawejje, one of the producers of the NTV Login show, perished in an accident along Masaka-Mbarara highway on Saturday. Resty was traveling with the Miss Tourism Uganda team for the Miss Tourism Ankole pageant when their driver lost control as he tried to overtake and their car veered off the road overturning multiple times. The accident also claimed lives of Miss Tourism Buganda Babra and Miss Tourism Northern Uganda Norah Atim.

Resty, 24, was a diploma holder in Television and Radio Production from the Uganda Television and Film Academy. She had earlier worked at WBS before joining NTV as a ‘LogIn’ show co-producer last year.
