Renowned Ugandan journalist Herbert Zziwa has ended-the-road in the after 7years.
Herbert Zziwa, who doubled as a news anchor and reporter at Nation Media Group emotionally shared his last moments at the station with his colleagues and viewers on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
It’s already confirmed that Herbert’s next destination is at National Building Review Board (NBRB) as a communications manager.
“Today I sign out of the Newsroom after 7 years. Thank you NTV Uganda, Daily Monitor, 93.3 KFM and the viewers. I now take on my new role as Manager Communications, National Building Review Board (NBRB),” Herbert Zziwa’s tweet reads.
Zziwa’s departure is such a blow to the Television station as it bided a heartwarming farewell to him on Twitter.
Good bye is indeed a sad word just like some musician put it. Zziwa Herbert, you have been a hardworking, reliable and self-driven when duty called. We appreciate your efforts and wish you well on your new journey.
This comes in months just after another top journalist Frank Walusimbi quit the station for a juicy role as an Associate Comms Officer at UNHCR Uganda, the United Nations Refugee agency.
