NTV Uganda’s Be My Date TV show has in the past few weeks excited Ugandan television viewers. The dating show has taken things a step further by helping Ugandan singles find their soul mates as the rest of the country watches on. Many are happy with the show hosted by Anita Fabiola and would like to take part.
“At first I thought that this was a waste of time, I used to think to myself, how you can make someone to get a lover when the whole world is looking. But after watching a few episodes, I also want to take part in the show and find a girlfriend,” said Mark an ardent viewer of the TV show which airs every Sunday at 8:05pm on NTV Uganda.
According to a statement from NTV Uganda, the show producers are overwhelmed by applications of many single Ugandans who want to take part a sign that it is very popular now. “We are overwhelmed by your requests to be on the show, for all those that have written to us there will be a briefing at NTV tomorrow Monday the 9th.” reads part of the statement released recently.
The TV show features 15 single women who come in search for Love. A single man (The Eligible Bachelor) is then introduced to the ladies in hope of persuading one of these women to agree to a date. Several men have earned themselves a date from the show.
Social media is awash with positive comments every Sunday when the show is airing. Surely, NTV Uganda always gives Ugandan what they want.
