Talent Xplosion, NTV Uganda’s premium reality talent show was premiered this evening on the Serena Based station. A launch party for the premier was also held at the Kabalagala based club, Venom.
Today’s episode featured fame hungry youth, middle aged and elderly people, from the western town of Fort Portal. Only 20 lucky contestants made it through the auditions to Kampala.
[showmyads] The Talent XP hosts, MC Kats and Login Presenter―Robin Kisti, showcased their world class presenting skills as they interviewed the contestants and interacted with the judges; Bebe Cool, Jackie Chandiru and Fhad.
The first episode was not so impressive; it lacked the talent show touch one would get from shows like Tusker Project fame. At one point, the judges were seen competing for an opportunity to say something.
The show which will be airing every Sunday at 8pm promises a lot of entertainment. The next episode will feature Mbarara.

After a countrywide tour, that saw the NTV crew travel to Masaka, Jinja, Gulu, Arua, Fort Portal, Mbarara and finally Kampala in search of talent, NTV’s premium reality talent show Talent XP is in the penultimate stage of putting together Uganda’s first ever cover band.
