NTV Uganda Dismisses Rosemary Nankabirwa Death Rumours

NTV Management has dismissed rumours that their former news anchor Rose Nankabirwa has passed on. The rumor which had started circulating on social media came just hours after veteran news anchor Bbaale Francis passed on.

However, NTV took the responsiblity of calming down the public by announcing that Rose Nankabirwa is still alive and undergoing treatment.

“NTV would like to dispel the rumour circulating that Rosemary Nankabirwa has passed away. She is alive and undergoing treatment,” NTV management said in a statement on social media.

Rose Nankabirwa who is battling skin cancer, formely worked with NTV as a news anchor before she threw in the towel to go for further studies abroad.
