NTV Uganda has appointed new Business Editor

NTV Uganda has announced that Samuel Ssettumba, an award winning Business journalist will be taking over as Acting Business Editor, replacing Charles Bwogi at the station.

 Bwogi who has been heading the NTV Business desk for the past six years is leaving NTV Uganda to pursue further studies. Ssettumba, a senior business reporter at the station for the past 8 years, will now be charged with strengthening the NTV Uganda Business desk.

He has built a reputation over the years for his in-depth analysis of Uganda’s economic outlook, breaking down complex business scenarios for the common man; attributes that have earned him widespread recognition from Uganda and beyond.

 Prior to his new posting, Ssettumba also doubled as the Project Coordinator for Spark TV, a sister station to NTV for the past 12 months. Ssettumba has won a number of awards that include; Corporate Image TV Business Journalist of the year, The Kikonyogo Capital markets Authority TV Business Journalist of the year (Winner and Runner up) ,The Sustainable Tourism award (second runner up for TV), Statistics reporter of the year awards for TV, The tax reporter of the year award and Uganda Investment Authority Business Journalist of the year
