Friends and family to NTV’s Epenu could finally have reason to smile as information reaching us indicates that the worst could be over. Epenu who has since been bedridden is now able to recognize and even hold conversation.
NTV’s Gabriel Epenu narrowly escaped the jaws of death late last year following a nasty road accident along Mukono road that claimed the life of one of his friends. He was then reported to be in a coma soon after he was rushed to Mulago hospital leaving his friends and family in a state of gloom, robbing them of any smile. People had since clasped their hands in prayer hoping for a miracle.
And it seems prayers have finally been answered as confirmed by people who have visited him in hospital recently.
“Gabriel Epenu is looking much better,” said one of his former colleagues, with joy marked all-over on his face. “We visited him a while ago and he was in high spirits giving everyone a hi-5. He can sit upright. Thank you for your prayers!”
