The campaign, launched in May, received enthusiastic support from several partners. BellaZuri provided mothers with face and hair makeovers, Zuena Cakes surprised mothers with special cakes, Fairway offered spa dates and full board hotel nights, Sumz contributed snacks, and Capital Shoppers gifted hampers and cash worth UGX 200,000/- each. On top of the fully paid trip, Stanbic Bank also gave the winners a visa card with two million shillings for their Dubai shopping experience.

Speaking on behalf of NRG Radio, Christine Mawadri, Director of Partnerships, expressed gratitude to the partners for their support. “Mothers are a treasure we can never put a price on. To join forces with NRG to celebrate them like the true heroes they are is a strong affirmation of our values and commitment,” she said.

Salim Kitagenda, Head of Product – Personal & Private Banking at Stanbic Bank, highlighted the bank’s commitment to honoring women and mothers. “Our partnership with NRG Radio to celebrate mothers throughout May is born from the desire to let our mothers know that we care about them, we appreciate their role in society, and we want to create happy memories with them,” he said.

Sylvia Kaggwa, Manager of Sales at Uganda Airlines, emphasized the importance of mothers to the airline. “Mothers are the wings beneath our wings at Uganda Airlines. Without mothers, there would be no us, no pilots, no staff, no Uganda Airlines. We are truly excited to be part of this celebration and cannot wait to give the mothers an unforgettable experience flying with us,” she said.

The winners of this prestigious trip are Nahurira Ivan and his guardian Kamugisha Martha. Their fully paid 5-day trip to Dubai, sponsored by Stanbic Bank and facilitated by Uganda Airlines, will be managed by Travelneza. Expressing his excitement, Ivan said, “We are over the moon with joy! This is a dream come true for us. We are so grateful to NRG Radio, Stanbic Bank, and Uganda Airlines for this incredible opportunity. We can’t wait to experience Dubai and create lifelong memories.”

This was the first edition of the “My Mom, My NRG” campaign, powered by Stanbic Bank, Uganda Airlines, Capital Shoppers Supermarket, BellaZuri, Sumz, ZuenaCakes, and Fairway Hot
