Fast rising musician Karo Sovie has finally cleared the controversy surrounding her collabo with dancehall star Ziza Bafana dubbed “So Fresh”. The controversy was stirred after reports claimed that Ziza Bafana asked for sexual favors from female musicians before granting them a collabo.
Karo Sovie has dismissed all these claims saying that she has always had a longstanding relationship with Ziza Bafana and managed to land the collabo because of her talent.
“I have always been friends with Ziza Bafana. He has seen grow into the singer that I am today and offered to do a song with me because of my talent,” she said.
However, when prodded further about claims that Ziza Bafana’s collaborations with female musicians come with “terms and conditions”, Karo Sovie denied knowing anything about this.
“I don’t know about the other female musicians, but Ziza Bafana did not set any ‘terms and conditions’ for me,” she added.
