No retreat, No surrender – Gen. Katumba Wamala tells Uganda Cranes players

The Chief of Uganda Defence Forces, General Edward Katumba Wamala has told the Uganda Cranes stars that there should be no retreat or surrender when they face off with Comoros on Sunday at Namboole in their final game of the 2017 AFCON Qualifiers.

Gen. Katumba was addressing the players at Serene Suites in Mutundwe yesterday evening where he had been invited as the chief guest during the players’ dinner ahead of Sunday’s do or die duel.

“No retreat, No Surrender. Uganda Cranes you can make it to the AFCON finals by beating Comoros,” CDF Katumba Wamala said.

He also wished the players all the best and asked them to display their best energies ever. “I wish you all the best and please as Uganda Cranes players, display the best energies against Comoros,” he added.

Uganda only has to beat their Group D opponents on Sunday to ensure qualification to the 2017 African Cup of Nations’ finals in Gabon.
