Renowned Ugandan singer and songwriter Nince Henry has advised fellow artists to focus on producing better music rather than expecting public sympathy during personal hardships.

His statement came after the passing of his father, as he expressed his views on how some artists react to personal struggles.
“Artists should stop having the habit of thinking that everything that affects us is also a matter of concern to others. If you are not relevant before the fans, please do better music,” Nince Henry said.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some agreeing that musicians should prioritize their craft, while others believe public figures should be allowed to share their emotions with fans.
Nince Henry is widely recognized for his songwriting skills and hit songs that have contributed to Uganda’s music industry.
