Singer Nina Roz has publicly shared the depth of her relationship with National Unity Platform (NUP) President Bobi Wine, describing him as not only a mentor but also a personal friend who holds a place in her life even more significant than some family members.
Speaking during an interview with CBS FM, Nina Roz expressed her admiration for Bobi Wine, placing him second only to the Kabaka of Buganda in her hierarchy of respect and loyalty.
“I like Bobi Wine personally as a person. He comes first after the Kabaka of Buganda. He is closer to me than my family members; he is a mentor,” she explained.
The artist also revealed her political ambitions, confirming she is laying the groundwork to contest for a parliamentary seat in Ssembabule under the NUP ticket.
Nina Roz didn’t hold back in addressing fellow artists who have taken public stances against Bobi Wine.
She warned them that their efforts are in vain, asserting that the NUP leader’s influence is here to stay.
“I pity those artists who keep fighting him. He is here to stay,” she stated firmly.
