Timaya

Nigerian singer and songwriter Enetimi Alfred Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya, is coming to Uganda this May.

Timaya has been confirmed for two shows in Uganda. He will do one in Jinja and another in Entebbe.

According to our sources, the musician whose solo career began in 2006 with the release of “Dem Mama”, couldn’t be booked for shows in Kampala thanks to KCCA.

Apparently the city authority charges exorbitant fees for artistes like Timaya and the promoters couldn’t afford to spend as much.

The singer recently won the Best Collaboration award for his song “Kokoroko” done alongside Kefee in the Headies.

We will keep you posted.
