Nigeria’s budding star, Rema was the star attraction as the Ciroc Pop Nights came to a thrilling end on Wednesday.
Hosted at Club Guvnor, the Dumebi hitmaker gave a befitting crowning performance to the event which has previously attracted some of Kampala’s finest musicians including Bebe Cool, Sheebah, Vinka, John Blaq, and Winnie Nwagi.
Stepping on stage shortly after 2am, Rema had revellers up and onto the dance floor along with their phones in the air ready to snap away the moment. The singer who was dressed in an all-black ensemble with a balaclava to complete the look, did not disappoint.
He staged a powerful and electrifying performance that got the crowd dancing and singing along to some of his songs including Corny, Rewind, and Bad Commando. When he performed his hit single, Dumebi, the crowd went wild. The excited revellers could be heard ululating and screaming themselves hoarse. It was a perfect end to the thrilling performance.
Meanwhile, the event also doubled as the launch of Ciroc’s new flavour, the Ciroc French Vanilla. The new premium vodka combines the rich and creamy taste of French Vanilla with the perfectly smooth texture of Ciroc to create the impeccable ultimate foundation for a celebratory cocktail occasion.
