The first ever, Uganda Entertainment Awards taking place this Friday, 4th September at Speke Resort Munyonyo will be hosted by celebrated Nigerian TV presenter Ehiz.
The historical event is set to feature the very cream of Uganda’s musical artists, drama artists, actors and actresses, some of whom will get to entertain the audience, atop being honored for their spectacular achievements in as far as the Entertainment Industry is concerned.
The highly billed Awarding event is projected to change the landscape of Uganda’s entertainment industry as it has been endorsed by entertainment critiques as just what Uganda’s entertainment Industry needs to elevate the stakeholders (musicians, drama artists, actors, producers, Dj’s and all the players alike) of Uganda’s entertainment industry to the International level.
The UEA’s therefore seek to stir Uganda’s entertainment ship past the local stage and thrust it into international limelight with the aim of making the various arts it entails, a sustainable employment venture for all the people involved in the line of production. And one such way is by awarding them.
