Africa’s finest Davido, was engrossed in an online confrontation with fellow artiste Wizkid and while many fans seemed worried that the two were trying to outshine each other, a few were sure that this was simply a publicity stunt by the two to publicise their concerts.
Well, the publicity sure did come through because as soon as Davido landed in the US for his tour and concert, everyone wanted to know what the beef was all about. In celebville, there is no such thing as bad publicity so that beef definitely worked in favour of Davido.
He was, however, quick to point out the fact that it was not fair that Wizkid trashed him out in public yet he thought they were bros. As a matter of fact he was about to call out his fans to attend the concert when Wizkid threw shade at him.
“I was even going to tweet like you know ‘make sure everybody turns up for my brother, Wizkid’s concert’ and he threw a shade like that. I’m not going to take that. But it’s all cool, at the end of the day, we got to keep it on the music”. He said.
He further affirmed that he was still a fan of Wizkid saying “Shout out to him. I’m still a big fan. It was never nothing, but don’t throw a shade at me”.
