Ojo Onolapo

Nigerian table tennis player Ojo Onaolapo gave the Commonwealth Games more than it bargained for on Monday when he greeted his country’s bronze medal success by stripping!

The 19-year-old sealed his team’s success in the bronze medal match against India in the men’s table tennis in Glasgow with victory over Sharath Kamal Achanta.

He was subsequently carried around the arena by his jubilant team-mates as other members of the Nigerian team danced in the stands.

His final act was the most memorable, though, as he dropped his shorts and lifted his shirt to jubilantly bare his pants.

India had been favourites to win the match, having claimed bronze in Delhi four years ago.

The medal was Nigeria’s 10th at the Games in Glasgow.
