Revelers are set to enjoy a getaway weekend at Ssese Islands when the inaugural edition of Ngala Fiesta gets underway late this month.
Organised by Authority Africa, Ngala Fiesta promises to be a fun-filled three day outdoor event offering revelers a camping experience. The fiesta will also have several other fun activities including swimming, trekking, beach soccer, camp fires, and kiting among others.
“Once in a while we deserve a getaway far from civilization, an escape far into the wild, to busk in the ambiance of fresh air and night breezes with a lot of entertainment and night beach music covered with lots of night activities,” noted Bagenda Marvin, one of the brains behind the event.
The fiesta will open with a boat cruise on Thursday, August 23rd as revelers set off to Kingfisher camping site on Ssesse Islands. The merrymaking will carry on through the weekend and revelers will return on Sunday, August 26.
Tickets are already on sale with couples paying 350K for cottages and 250K for tents. Singles are paying 150K.
