New dates have been confirmed for the meetings between Uganda and Togo in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers round two that are slated for next month.
Speaking at the weekly press conference on Wednesday at the FUFA house in Mengo, Kampala, the federation spokesperson Ahmed Hussien said; “The first leg shall take place on Thursday, 12th November 2015 in Lome at the Kegue Stadium at 15:30 hours before the return leg on Sunday, 15th November 2015 at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole (Kampala) at 16:00 hours.”
The earlier dates that had been scheduled for the first and second leg were 11th and 14th November 2015 respectively.
Uganda will travel to Lome, Togo for the first leg before hosting their former 2015 AFCON qualifier group mates in the return leg at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole and the aggregate victor after both legs will qualify for the group stages.
Last year during the AFCON Qualifiers, the Cranes lost to the Sparrow Hawks on both occasions by 1-0. The squad to take part in these ties will be announced by Cranes coach Micho next week on Wednesday.

1st Leg: Thursday, 12th November 2015 – Togo vs. Uganda (Kegue Stadium, Lome)
2nd Leg: Sunday, 15th November 2015 – Uganda vs. Togo (Nelson Mandela National Stadium, Kampala)
