A few days ago, a Nigerian identified as Okoye Uche Micheal was netted at Entebbe airport on suspicion that he was in possession of narcotics. Uche Micheal was hence interrogated and grilled for several hours and it was later identified that he had swallowed 66 pellets of narcotics.
According to the D/ASP Nantalis Imoly OCCIID Airport, Okoye is the 6th Nigerian to be caught on accounts of drug trafficking in Uganda.
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports indicate that the 44-year-old Nigerian with Italian citizenship seems to have connections with local musicians who have been helping him establish ways of easily beating the airport security and how he could circulate the drugs in Uganda.
However, no musician has been pointed at yet for having direct connections with Okoye.
