Joseph Nestroy Kizito was born on 27th July, 1982. He currently plays for SC Victoria University. Kizito began his career at Makindye secondary school on the school team before joining SC Villa where he started his club football.
In January 2004, he left the country for Serbia, where he signed and played for FK Srem alongside fellow national team player Phillip Ssozi. Having played for one year in Srem, he transferred to FK Vojvodina in January 2005. While at the club, he became so popular when he made his mark by scoring a winning goal against big rivals Red Star Belgrade in the 2005–06 season at home ground, a goal that also ended the ten-year-long drought of a win over Crvenazvezda.
He was also elected twice as the Vojvodina Supporters Player of the Year in the 2005–06 and 2008–09 seasons. He later signed a two-year contract with Serbian champions FKPartizan on 2nd July, 2010 as a free agent. During September 2011, he allegedly left Serbia to join Uganda national team 5 days earlier than he was supposed to, something was controversial to his club which made him to be put under suspension.
On 17th August, 2012 Kizito had joined Victoria University Fc in Super League and was appointed the club Captain.
He has been a notable defender on the national team the Uganda Cranes since 2001, when he made his debut.
