Nelson studied Art and Designing. His strong desire for music started at his youthful stage at Bweyogerere Church of Uganda Primary School, St Johns High school.
Having been born and raised from an Anglican religion subscribing family, also schooled from the same religious background, Nelson didn’t hesitate to emerge his musical career from the church choir.
In 2013, he stepped up professional music releasing his first single; Ekisa kya Yesu in 2016.
