Gone are the days when Ugandan companies were being acquired by foreign companies. The times have changed, and the waves of change are not sparing our Rwandan neighbours.

We shall soon have NBS Rwanda following a recent partnership that will see NBS Uganda take over the management of a popular TV station in Rwanda.

NBS Uganda has also clarified that they were never acquired by KTN Kenya. Rather, it was a partnership about having training and shared footage. This was to help KTN compete with the Nation Media Group’s NTV here in Uganda.

NBS Uganda owns another TV on Star Times named Salaam TV and is now launching itself as one of the market leaders in the era of digital television.
