The Nile Special Rugby Premier League has been making headlines lately, and some legal drama could soon join its exciting on-field action. This website has learned that NBS Sport have threatened legal action against Kawowo Sports for streaming Nile Special Rugby Premier League games.
According to reliable sources, NBS Sport has served Kawowo Sports with an ‘Intention to Sue’ letter, demanding up to UGX 358,000,000 in damages and legal fees. NBS Sport believes that Kawowo Sports has been making commercial gains from the unauthorized broadcast of the games, a clear violation of the rights NBS Sport acquired from the Uganda Rugby Union.
