NBS TV news anchor Katabira Daniel has quit.
The “Amasengejje” news reader announced that he was quitting the Kamwokya-based station on social media. According to a post shared on his Facebook wall, Katabira Daniel is quitting television after 8 years of service to concentrate on his private business ventures.
He posted:
“Its the last moment am handling NBS mic. Dear lovely fans, i take the opportunity to let you know that i have halted TV business in interest of my private ventures. Meanwhile i will keep serving you on the mighty CBS Radio y’obujjajja. Thank you for the love, untold support, advice and guidance you accorded me while at the biggest NBS Television. And big up to NBS TV for the opportunity given to practice my career for the last 8yrs, Love you all, God bless.”
