Navio - Lilian Mbabazi

Ugandan rapper Navio and songstress Lilian Mbabazi are vying for top accolades in Tanzanian music and film awards.

The two are nominated in the inaugural EATV Awards in which they will face off with top musicians from across the region.

Navio is nominated in the Best Video of the Year category for his smash hit single, Njogereza while Lilian Mbabazi will battle for the Best Female Musician award.

Organised by East Africa Television(EATV), a youth-oriented TV channel airing in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda, the awards seek to reward artists from the East African region in the spheres of music and film.

The award ceremony will be held at the Mlimani City Hall in Dar-es-Salaam on Saturday, 10th December.
