The fourth edition of Blankets and Wine Kampala, the leading Afro-based music festival in East Africa designed to showcase genres of Afro fusion music is back on Sunday, 29th September 2013 at the Uganda Museum Grounds starting at 1:00pm.

The headlining acts at this month’s edition will be Burundian Afro-Fusion Maestro Kidum, Uganda’s own Navio and the Janzi Band who will be performing live to once again excite and thrill the afro fusion music lovers in Uganda.

This is just the fourth edition of Blankets and Wine in Uganda but it continues to grow and attract bigger every crowd since its inception in 2012. The premier and third Blankets and Wine took place on the same grounds with the second one being held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

“This is a great time for Tusker Lite to show appreciation to our consumers, and to give back by way of showing them what Afro fusion music and live performances are all about,” says Harry Mwanje, Tusker Lite Brand Manager in Uganda.

Blankets and Wine is a quarterly, picnic style music festival that started in 2012 and has grown steadily to one of the most eagerly waited for music events in Kampala.

“Tusker Lite is a brand that distinctly stands out because it has a big taste and low carbs. Our consumers seek more premium events and activities to relax and unwind and that’s why we bring you Blankets and Wine which is always a unique experience every time”, adds Harry.

Audiences are encouraged to drive down to the venue pack your picnics, wine, shukas, blankets and bring along all your friends and family for an incredible afternoon of music and wholesome fun amidst this music and lifestyle experience.

With this edition of Blankets and Wine, Tusker Lite is promising to once again raise the bar for Uganda’s music lovers on Sunday, 29th September, 2013 by delivering an event that is exclusive to the brand but above all, one that promotes afro-based fusion music, musicians and genres related to afro expression.
