Yesterday, the Sunday of 29th September, 2014 marked the 4th edition of the annual “blanket and wine” event that was hosted at Uganda Museum grounds in the neighbourhood of Kitante hill school.
Despite heavy rains in and around Kampala, the event kicked off at around 3pm as planned by the organizers and many people turned up to free their fun side. At this event, people come with their friends and families and carry along blankets as well which they lay down on the ground and relax their bodies as they drink and get entertained.
Navio went on stage at around 5:30pm and sang almost all his urban songs with the help of the Janzi band that had been playing throughout the day. Other performance was by the Burundian musician Kidum.
However, there were other Ugandan musicians who never performed but also embraced the event and they include Lilian Mbabazi and Maurice Kirya.
Others that attended the show were Judith Heard, the Uganda’s one week Big Brother Africa representative and Urban TV presenter Denzel, NTV T-Nation presenters Kleith and Sheila Gashumba and other media personalities.
