Celebrated local hip-hop star Navio is set to grace the Africa HipHop Awards launch.
We have learnt the “Njogereza” hitmaker will be one of the performing acts at the launch ceremony slated for Saturday, July 1 in the Zambian capital, Lusaka.
The event which is expected to attract several hip-hop lovers will also be graced by top rappers on the continent including Ghana’s Sarkodie, Nigeria’s MI and Kenya’s Khaligraph among others.
The official nominees for the inaugural Africa HipHop Awards will unveiled on the day. This will be followed by several activities building up to the awards gala night which will be held in October.
Africa HipHop Awards seek to celebrate the amazing spoken words over the unique sounds and beats produced by talented musicians and engineers across Africa and beyond.
