Musician Navio has finally come out to talk about her mom’s condition after unidentified thugs broke into her house and stabbed her. The Kigozi singer thanked all his friends and fans for the support they showed them before he went ahead to reveal exactly what happened and the current condition of her mom. Here’s a long statement he made on social media:
“Thank you for all of the support from family, friends and fans. I apologize to the public for not having made a statement yet.
These are the facts so far:
1) Men entered my Mother’s house
2) My mother and cousin suffered hand related wounds only.
3) Nothing was taken as they fought back and managed to make enough noise for the intruders to retreat and flee.
Anything else you have heard about the situation is false.
Every picture you have seen is pulled off random crime scenes on the Internet.
My mother is stable and strong and has already been discharged.
We can all learn from the bravery they have shown and I’m proud to call her my Mother.”
