On the evening of October 4, 2025, Ugandan hip-hop heavyweight Navio delivered a historic performance at Serena Hotel, seamlessly blending rap with orchestral music in a concert that has been hailed as one of the most innovative live shows ever staged in the country.

Organized by Fenon Events, the concert marked Navio’s 10th major showcase and broke new ground by featuring a 40-piece live orchestra alongside his trusted Aka Dope Band.
Titled “The Navio Orchestra Experience,” the concert attracted hundreds of fans, music lovers, and industry professionals who witnessed a reinvention of some of Navio’s biggest hits — including Ngalo, Bugumu, On & On, and Njogereza all re-arranged with symphonic backing. Conducted by music director Polycarp Kyagulanyi, the orchestra brought a new dimension to Ugandan hip-hop, showing the genre’s versatility and depth.
Navio was joined on stage by some of Uganda’s top talent, including The Mith, Keko, Feffe Bussi, Babaluku, and Sweden-based vocalist Kadiatou Holm. Their performances blended seamlessly with the orchestral arrangements, creating a one-of-a-kind fusion that captivated the audience throughout the night.
Fenon Events, renowned for its high-level production standards, ensured the stage design, lighting, and sound met international benchmarks. From the red carpet to the final bow, the event was executed with precision and flair, reinforcing Fenon’s reputation as a leading events production company in East Africa.
More than just entertainment, the concert also had a philanthropic angle. Navio announced that a portion of the proceeds would go towards supporting maternity health programs and providing sanitary materials to girls in rural communities, emphasizing his commitment to using his platform for positive social change.
With “The Navio Orchestra Experience,” the rapper not only celebrated two decades in music but also elevated Uganda’s live performance standards. The success of the event is expected to influence future concert formats and inspire other artists to experiment with genre fusion and live instrumentation.
