Navio and Yung Mulo’s video for Omu ku Omu is impressive

Well, well, well… Navio and Yung Mulo on one song?? That should be something. And yes it was. The Hip-hop heavyweight dropped this song a couple of months back and of course Dancehall hotshot Yung Mulo was the automatic choice to add some dancehall flavor to the track. This is a banger so when I heard a video was shot, ofcourse anxiety kicked in. And knowing Navio’s knack for putting out quality videos, it was easy getting hooked.

So the video does justice to an already cracker of a song. The song is titled Omu ku Omu with Yung Mulo emphasizing in the chorus “Nga bwetulya dance”. This chorus states a party. Damn these guys had a party. The girls are everywhere, the champagne is popping. Typical dancehall scenes with Yung Mulo and Navio enjoying themselves. The song is a dancehall song so it scores on setting. Some scenes are shot in a house presumably a house party and at the poolside. Do I love it?? Hell yeah, I do.

The video was shot in the night so use of cameras and lighting had to be spot on to pull off the night scenes. The lighting was okay though I thought it should have been brighter. The video screams party from the first minute to the last as it should have been.

The video only lacks in star cameos to give the video more appeal. Navio could have called up a few famous buddies to give the video more shine. Producer Hannz who produced the track represents well with a cameo.

All in all, a good video for an already nice song

RATING:3.5/5
