Naomi Campbell knows a thing or two about being on the cover of ‘Vogue,’ and apparently she doesn’t think Kim Kardashian and Kanye West belong there! Ouch!
Naomi Campbell is joining the long list of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Vogue haters. The legendary supermodel showed the world exactly what she thinks of the much buzzed-about cover when she laughed at it on Australia’s The Morning Show.
Naomi Campbell, who has graced the American Vogue cover five times in her 28-year career, doesn’t appreciate seeing a couple of amateurs on the fashion world’s most coveted cover. When the host of Australia’s The Morning Show asked the supermodel what she thought of the cover, she laughed and said, “I do not want to comment.” When the host asked why, she nearly bust a gut laughing at the mere thought of Kim and Kanye!
Finally Naomi replied, “Because I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years. And when you get a Vogue cover, it’s a build in your career, it’s a stepping stone to achieve that.”
“So you think that Kim and Kanye haven’t earned the right to be on the cover of Vogue?” the host asked.
Naomi carefully responded, “Those are your words, not mine. I’m being politically correct.”
In this case, we think laughter speaks louder than words. That was a definite diss, Naomi!
Poor Kim and Kanye! It’s probably hard for them to enjoy their moment in the sun with everyone throwing shade their way. Naomi wasn’t the only star to diss the couple’s cover.
